• Bad Axe, MI The Coop is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Administrative Specialist to support the daily operations of the Petroleum and Accounting Departments. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of administrative and accounting processes while providing valuable support to team members across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, helping to ensure smooth and effective day-to-day business operations. This position will be based at the Bad Axe Plant. Job Responsibilities Perform petroleum-related duties, including fuel price changes, Petrovend fuel card file maintenance, and budget plan program administration. Maintain and record purchase orders and receiving documents for tires, petroleum, and petroleum products. Maintain inventory control records. Track and troubleshoot petroleum accounting documentation issues and discrepancies. Review and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Post daily counter slips and batches for designated outlying locations. Prepare and complete daily bank deposits. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 2+ years of accounting experience Critical Success Factors High level of professionalism Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Excellent attention to detail Multitasking abilities Strong verbal and written communication Technology savvy Ability to work with a team
