Allor Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a full-time, detailed oriented and proactive, entry-level Junior Accountant to join our growing team located in Brighton, MI. Reporting to the Controller, this successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy in processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, assisting with account reconciliations, and performing general ledger functions. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who is looking to build hands-on experience. Responsibilities Processing of vendor invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Oversee vendor records including W-9 compliance. Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data. Play key role in the month-end process including posting journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers; investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow. Analyze data from ERP software to assist with forecasting and monthly reporting. Assist with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and financial analysis as needed. Provide support and backup to other finance team members. Skills Associate's degree in accounting required; Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred. A general understanding of all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, prepaids, accruals, payroll & inventory. Interested in learning and applying additional accounting skills as necessary. Efficient in Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel. Epicor or ERP software experience is a plus. Ability to successfully interact with a wide range of people in all departments. Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
