Full Job Description Medical Biller and Account Receivable Specialists Duties:
  • Review and analyze medical records and patient information to accurately assign medical codes using ICD-10 and other coding systems.
  • Ensure that all medical codes are entered correctly into the billing system.
  • Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies or denials.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation and coding.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Medical Biller, Account Receivable or in a similar role. Working experience with GI and Internal Medicine billing in Epic Billing system is preferred but not required.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical billing procedures, including DRG coding.
  • Proficiency in using ICD-10 and other coding systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Note:
