Position Summary This position will be responsible for processing customer invoices and payments, maintaining accounts receivable records, processing vendor invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with general accounting and office functions. The position will work closely with management, service technicians, project personnel, customers, and vendors to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and properly documented. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting in a construction, HVAC, mechanical, or service-related business is preferred. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree or higher in a related field preferred Previous experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional and courteous communication with customers, vendors, co workers, and other businesses Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and other commonly used office technology. Experience with accounting or bookkeeping software preferred. Ability to review financial and job-related documentation and identify errors or discrepancies. Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial and employee information.
