Job Description

Accounting Assistant:
Pines Behavioral Health Services is seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant to join our team. This position is 40 hours per week and will provide support with a variety of data-entry and accounting functions, including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and audit preparation. Key Responsibilities Assist with payroll processing and related accounting activities. Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Support preparation for financial audits. Work effectively with consumers, coworkers, and members of the public. Demonstrate the ability to take initiative, lead when appropriate, and work effectively as part of a team. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred, with 2 years of related experience; or High school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of related experience. Experience with Paychex or a similar payroll service provider is highly desirable. Experience working in a community mental health setting is preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Ability to communicate and work effectively with consumers, coworkers, and the public.
Compensation Salary Range:
$42,848-$60,320 per year , commensurate with experience. Excellent fringe benefits.
