The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Coopersville that are seeking skilled Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Generate customer invoices and credit memos, verifying accuracy and completeness. Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on past due invoices, and resolve payment issues. Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments. Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable and receivable files. Assist with month-end closing activities related to AP/AR. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and accounting software. Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reconciliation. Demonstrated ability to manage high volume transactions and meet deadlines accurately. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Familiarity with the manufacturing production cycle and its financial implications. Knowledge of inventory management principles as they relate to accounts payable/receivable. Ability to analyze and reconcile complex vendor statements or customer accounts involving material and production variances.
