Job Description

Description:
Orbitform is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support our accounting and materials functions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting multiple areas of a manufacturing business. Responsibilities Enter and verify employee timecards for job-costing purposes. Match packing slips to invoices and complete invoice vouching. Prepare checks and supporting documentation for twice-monthly check runs. Assist with month-end accounting processes and reconciliations. Complete materials transactions and maintain accurate system records. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation. Process and track material returns and vendor credits. Research discrepancies involving invoices, packing slips, and material transactions. Maintain organized and confidential accounting and company records.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous accounting, administrative, or materials experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently.
Work Environment:
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The employee may occasionally work in the manufacturing facility while assisting with materials and inventory activities. The manufacturing environment may include noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. The employee must follow all applicable safety requirements and wear required personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing facility.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described below represent those generally required to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation. This position regularly requires sitting and using a computer and other office equipment. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and move throughout the office and manufacturing facility while assisting with materials and inventory activities.
