If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are working with companies in Otsego that are adding Bookkeepers to their teams. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors. Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers and tracking payments. Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly. Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits. Support inventory tracking and costing processes. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop or similar accounting software. Demonstrated understanding of inventory costing methods (e.g., standard, FIFO, LIFO). Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
