In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting our accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a variety of financial software and systems, making it ideal for someone passionate about numbers and organization. Experience with Quickbooks a must. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data and identify discrepancies promptly Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently while maintaining proper documentation Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments in compliance with relevant regulations Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions accurately according to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and accounting standards Prepare financial reports and statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for internal review or external reporting purposes Support budgeting activities and provide insights into financial concepts to aid decision-making processes Requirements Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, or comparable systems Solid knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial report writing Familiarity with GAAP standards and technical accounting practices is highly desirable Strong skills in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), 10-key typing accuracy, and attention to detail Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a part-time capacity Join us to bring your bookkeeping expertise into a vibrant environment where your skills directly impact our success!
