Onsite Salary:
$50,000-$60,000 Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join their growing team. The Accounting Assistant will support the accounting department with daily financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable activities, account reconciliations, data entry, and general accounting support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong organizational skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Accounting Assistant Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments Generate customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Review expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing and payments Update and maintain accounting spreadsheets and databases Support audits by gathering requested financial documentation Perform various administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned
Accounting Assistant Education and Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Experience with accounting software/ERP systems preferred Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines #
