Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
This position will perform a variety of accounting duties for accounts receivable, cost accounting and the general ledger.
E SSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:

Prepare and process customer invoices and maintain accurate accounts receivable records. Apply customer payments and reconcile customer accounts. Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements. Monitor customer accounts, research and resolve billing discrepancies, and assist with collection activities. Maintain customer account records and support customer account setup and maintenance. Assist with month-end accounts receivable activities, including reconciliations and reporting. Assist with sales and use tax reporting and maintain supporting documentation. Support machine shipping, progress billing, and other operational accounting processes. Production time & attendance reconciliation / reporting. Monitor shared accounting inboxes and provide timely customer and internal support. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer and accounting issues. Identify opportunities to improve processes and support ERP and system initiatives. Assist with audits and perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Requires an Associate's degree in Business or Accounting with one year of relevant work experience or a high school diploma or GED and three years relevant work experience. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Infor XA software packages would be beneficial.
