Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. Your expertise in various accounting software and systems will help streamline processes, facilitate accurate reporting, and support strategic decision-making. Duties Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software such as QuickBooks Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation to ensure data integrity Prepare journal entries, including debits & credits, to record financial transactions in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Assist with payroll processing, ensuring correct deductions and timely payments Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to verify accuracy of financial data Generate detailed financial reports and supporting documentation for audits or management review Manage double entry bookkeeping practices to uphold accounting standards and ensure balanced books Utilize spreadsheets for data analysis, tracking expenses, and preparing reports Support non-profit or corporate accounting functions as needed, including grant tracking or fund management Join us as a Bookkeeper if you are passionate about precision in finance, thrive on maintaining accurate records, and want to be part of an organization that values your expertise. Pay:
