Job Description
Bookkeeper & Office Coordinator Full-Time | In-Office Our client is a growing consulting firm seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Office Coordinator to support our financial operations and office administration. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is approximately 2/3 bookkeeping and 1/3 office coordination . Benefits Paid holidays and PTO Health insurance Employer-paid family and medical leave insurance Company-sponsored retirement plan (after eligibility period) Qualifications Required 3-5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Proficiency with QuickBooks Online Knowledge of cash and accrual accounting Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting Experience with ADP payroll Experience in a family-owned or privately held business Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Financial Administration Manage accounts payable, including invoices, vendor payments, reconciliations, and contract tracking Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, payment processing, and client account setup Process bi-weekly payroll and support payroll reporting and compliance Maintain inventory records in QuickBooks Monitor cash balances and assist with cash flow management Prepare monthly financial reports and support budgeting activities File quarterly sales and use tax returns and maintain 1099 records Maintain organized financial records and documentation Office Coordination Welcome office visitors and guests Coordinate meals and logistics for internal events Maintain office supplies, snacks, and beverages Handle shipping and receiving Support general office operations and administrative needs Professional Skills Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) Strong attention to detail and follow-through Excellent time management and organizational skills Professional and effective communication with clients, vendors, and colleagues Adaptable, proactive, and systems-oriented
