Job Description:

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company to identify an Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract opportunity. This role will support the accounting team with high-volume invoice processing, vendor communication, and day-to-day accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices accurately and timely Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents Review invoices for appropriate approval and coding Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payments Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable Assist with filing and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications:

1+ years of accounts payable, accounting, or related experience preferred Manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-based industry experience is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience working within an ERP or accounting system Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
