Hire Overview We are seeking a detail?oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a high?volume accounting team on a temp?to?hire basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong AP fundamentals who thrives in a fast?paced, hands?on environment and is looking for long?term stability. Key Responsibilities Review invoices for proper documentation and approvals prior to payment Perform 2?way and 3?way matching for PO?based invoices Sort and distribute incoming mail Scan invoices into the document management system Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner Process employee expense reports Maintain and update vendor records Support 1099 maintenance and reporting Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) Strong data entry and general math skills Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Strong organizational and time?management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high?volume, fast?paced environment Strong work ethic and reliability Why This Role?
