Position Responsibilities The Accounts Payable /Bookkeeper manages day-to-day accounts payable and financial record-keeping functions. You'll be the person who makes sure invoices get paid on time, the books stay accurate, and financial data is ready when leadership needs it. This is a great fit for someone who's organized, trustworthy with financial detail, and comfortable owning a process end-to-end.
Key Tasks Process vendor invoices:
code, route for approval, and schedule payments Manage accounts receivable basics, if applicable (invoicing, deposits, follow-up on past-due balances) Track and reconcile petty cash and company credit card expenses and ensure accurate coding Maintain vendor records, including W-9 collection and 1099 preparation Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies Maintain the general ledger, including recording journal entries Assist with month-end close, including accruals and account reconciliations Support the preparation of financial reports and schedules for management or external accountants/auditors Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records and documentation
Requirements:
Skills & Specifications Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Ramp, preferred but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Must be detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and have excellent organizational and time management skills Must be able to prioritize and have a high level of adaptability with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good interpersonal relationship skills and motivation for personal growth Education & Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience 2+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable experience Company Summary Channel is a leading provider of equipment finance and working capital funding solutions for small businesses, exclusively through Equipment Finance Companies.
