Job Summary Oversee Account Analysts ensuring customer accounts are invoiced and payment collected according to company and customer requirements. Oversee customer contract and project/payment mechanic's lien processes. Essential Job Functions Organize and assign customers and jobs to Analysts, as appropriate Analysis of aged account receivables and prioritizing customer collections amongst the team Actively work with Analysts to achieve timely collection of past due balances through direct phone calls and emails and follow up when necessary Receive internal and external inquiries regarding customer account status, lien waivers and other related items Various accounting tasks as necessary, such as processing credits Assist Analysts with questions, coaching the Analyst toward growth and development within their role Work with Controller to set up customer sales tax exemptions Assist other departments with questions that may arise in regard to contracts or other customer related items Work directly with the Controller on various projects, communicating regularly Communicate to the Controller and/or CFO in regard to accounts that may need further collection escalation Other duties as required Requirements Experience leading a team of 5-10 people Ability to multitask and lead a team of people that are on and off-site Experience in the construction industry Previous collections experience, or other accounting duties Proficient in computer skills in a Google based environment, especially Sheets and Docs Ability to learn and understand new software Ability to organize and manage work flow efficiently including following up on accounts Possess good communication skills as interaction with customers and co-workers Favorable results from a criminal background check Working conditions This position is in an office environment with extended periods of computer usage. Work space allows for standing or sitting; periodic walking throughout the work day.
