Hourly Job Summary:
Seeking an Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of support tasks within an accounting department. The Accounting Clerk 2 will perform a variety of support tasks in one of our accounting departments. We seek a detail-oriented individual with basic financial business knowledge to conduct tasks using standard procedures. Compile data and prepare, review, and audit a variety of reports. Enter data or use technology tools to upload data into the computer system using defined computer programs. Contribute to implementing and developing our records information management policies and best practices. Provide customer service to internal clients, suppliers and customers.s Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records, including detailed financial business transactions. Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Print and mail farmers' cheques. Print contracts and send them to farmers. Scan, organize, and manage documents. Coordinate with the Bangalore, India team regarding system or cheque-related issues. Report daily/regular updates to managers. Support payment processing activities through banks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent Strong administrative experience. Experience handling checks or payment processing is highly preferred. Good computer and system navigation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with printers and scanning equipment is a plus. 1-3 years of relevant experience desired Accounting or finance experience is a bonus Ability to coordinate effectively with offshore teams. Shift timings 8:00AM to 5:00
