Provide accounting services requiring technical and analytical skills to ensure that accounts payable transactions are processed and coded accurately and in accordance with all regulations. This position must interpret rules and regulations relating to statewide accounting and must have considerable expertise of the State's accounting system, coding structure, Data Warehouse, and the districts' budget and various appropriations. Additionally, they will assist with administrative support needs including B3 entries, Communications assistance, front desk back up, special events and misc. support as needed for district

- Minimum Qualifications
- To qualify for
- Account Clerk,
- applicant resumes must demonstrate all the following: + Basic accounting procedures sufficient to prepare itemized statements, bills or invoices, and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
+ Accounts receivable and computerized billing systems, such as SWIFT (Statewide Integrated Financial Tools), sufficient to enter and access information, and identify and adjust for potential problems.
+ Accounting knowledge sufficient to reconcile differences between invoices, receipts and purchase orders, and estimate needs based on historical data and events affecting the account.
+ Customer Service skills sufficient to respond effectively to customers who have questions about agency operations and procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + One or more years of accounting or billing work experience. + Proficiency in products such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
