Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Accounts Receivable Specialist Overview Penmac Staffing is hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temporary coverage assignment in Blue Springs, MO. This full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, work independently, and support day-to-day accounts receivable operations with minimal training. The position focuses on payment processing, reconciliations, and customer follow-up in a fast-paced office setting. Accounts Receivable Specialist Responsibilities Process ACH, credit card, and check payments accurately and in a timely manner Review, research, and reconcile payment discrepancies Monitor aging accounts and assist with collections efforts Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and payment questions Investigate and resolve billing or payment issues Assist with month-end reconciliations and basic reporting Process dunning notices and maintain accurate AR records Support additional accounting duties as business needs require Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Specialist Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Experience with NetSuite or Avalara is a plus Medical billing or collections experience is encouraged Additional Details Temporary coverage assignment No travel required Office-based position in Blue Springs, MO Opportunity to gain experience with an established accounting team Apply online today or contact Penmac Staffing - Overland Park Branch for more information about this Accounts Receivable Specialist opportunity.
