Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity and make a difference as a skilled Occupational Therapist this summer! Work with dedicated students for a summer school program, supporting their growth and independence while collaborating with a passionate school community. This contract-based position offers a meaningful way to help children achieve their developmental goals while enjoying a flexible summer schedule. As an Occupational Therapist in a school environment, you'll have 20-25 hours per week during the month of June. Your expertise will provide essential support to students, leading hands-on activities and therapies that promote success in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) License in Missouri Recent experience working with school-aged children or in a school-based setting Strong knowledge of IEPs and related documentation Ability to assess and implement individualized therapeutic plans Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Role & Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' functional abilities and developmental needs in a school environment Develop, implement, and monitor targeted occupational therapy plans to meet individual student goals Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and parents to support each student's progress Maintain accurate records and contribute to student IEP meetings as needed Adapt therapy methods and interventions to suit a dynamic summer school schedule This is an ideal opportunity to further your career while making a genuine difference in students' lives during the summer session.
