Accounting Assistant at Daniel Schmitt & Co. Classic Car Gallery For over 50 years, Daniel Schmitt & Co. has been a globally recognized family-owned leader in investment-grade classic and exotic automobiles. We specialize in curating exceptional vehicles for discerning collectors worldwide, and we're seeking a detail-oriented, professional individual to join our high-performance team in a dynamic administrative role. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience in automotive accounting, title processing, and office operations within a fast-paced, high-end dealership environment. Ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals, this role provides a strong foundation in financial administration, compliance, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, verification, and timely payment to vendors Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reconciliation of accounts Handle daily vehicle title processing, including verification, submission, and follow-up to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Assist with inventory documentation, ensuring all vehicle records and supporting materials are complete and organized Serve as a professional point of contact for vendors, clients, and internal team members via phone, email, and in person Support overall office efficiency by assisting with administrative tasks and special projects as needed Qualifications & Requirements On-site training provided; no prior automotive experience required Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field); Associate's degree or equivalent experience considered Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams); accounting software experience is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently Professional communication skills and positive, team-oriented attitude Interest in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required
