We are looking for an energetic, highly organized Event Coordinator to help bring the space to life through private events, corporate gatherings, community programming, and unique experiences. This person will be a key connection between our guests, food events operators, local businesses, and the Omni Center management team. Role Overview The Event Coordinator will be responsible for driving revenue through private event bookings and public programming while creating strong relationships throughout the Omni Center/ Bridgeton community. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable selling, planning, coordinating, and executing events from initial inquiry through completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, creative, and excited to build something new. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Drive private events sales including corporate events, birthdays, celebrations, happy hours, group outings, and buyouts.
- Manage events from initial inquiry through booking, planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Conduct tours and communicate event offerings, pricing, menus, and available spaces to prospective clients.
- Develop relationships with neighboring businesses, apartment communities, hotels, universities, and local organizations to generate event opportunities and partnerships.
- Develop and coordinate public programming, including markets, themed events, tournaments, community gatherings, and other activations.
- Coordinate event logistics between clients, food vendors, bar staff, management, and other onsite teams.
- Create event timelines, floor plans, menus, staffing plans, and other necessary event details.
- Oversee onsite event execution, including setup, guest experience, timeline management, and breakdown.
- Work closely with food operators to coordinate menus, food service, pricing, and event requirements.
- Identify opportunities to increase food, beverage, and entertainment sales through events and programming.
- Promote events through local outreach, community partnerships, social media, and relevant event calendars.
- Maintain accurate event calendars, client information, contracts, deposits, invoices, and event documentation.
- Follow up with clients after events to gather feedback, encourage repeat business, and generate referrals.
- Assist with special projects and other operational needs as the growth.
