Accounts Payable Coordinator Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital Full-Time | Onsite | Maryland Heights, MO Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator who can keep up with a busy workload while also enjoying working with people. Ranken Jordan provides a unique level of care for children with complex medical needs, helping children and families transition from the acute-care hospital setting toward home. We're looking for someone who is organized, accurate, dependable, and comfortable processing a high volume of invoices. Just as important, this person should be friendly, approachable, and able to build positive working relationships with vendors, coworkers, and departments throughout the hospital. What You'll Do Process approximately 500 vendor invoices per month Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and supporting documentation Prepare weekly check runs and payment files Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment questions Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies Maintain vendor information, including W-9 documentation Assist with AP accruals, reconciliations, and month-end reporting Support annual 1099 reporting Reconcile corporate credit card activity Help identify opportunities to improve and streamline AP processes What We're Looking For Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance Experience with ERP or accounting systems Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Knowledge of 1099 reporting and vendor management preferred Experience with automated invoice processing systems preferred Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work professionally with vendors and employees throughout the organization Comfortable enforcing internal controls and following established accounting procedures Strong problem-solving skills and ability to research and resolve discrepancies Ability to manage a high-volume workload while meeting deadlines A friendly, approachable personality and a willingness to help others Interest in identifying opportunities to improve and streamline AP processes Experience with check runs, 1099s, corporate cards, and month-end AP is preferred.
