Job Description

Job Overview TenTalents is a small, Christian ministry based in the West St. Louis metro area. We are looking for an in-office, part-time bookkeeper who is organized and detail-oriented to support our team of accountants with day-to-day bookkeeping, bill payment and financial administration for a portfolio of individual and business clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys structured, recurring work, is comfortable managing multiple accounts and deadlines at once, and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organization committed to transparency, efficiency, and growth. The position may begin part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. Responsibilities Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation to ensure consistency across all accounts. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently. Prepare journal entries. Coordinate recurring and one-time internal transfers between accounts as directed Confirm receipt of expected incoming payments and deposits Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and financial institutions on routine account matters Track outstanding questions or open items and follow up until resolved Provide light administrative/calendar support, such as making reservations or scheduling on behalf of the office Support the office's accountants with ad hoc bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed Skills Prior bookkeeping, accounts payable, or administrative accounting experience preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines and accounts simultaneously High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with financial data and payment processing Comfortable using online banking portals, vendor websites, and standard office/accounting software (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, or similar) Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential financial and personal information Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a small office team Why Join Us You'll work alongside a small, collaborative team of accountants in a supportive office environment, with steady, varied work and room to grow into a full-time role
