Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial standards. Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and data entry will support our organization's financial health and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your skills in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial analysis will make a meaningful impact. Duties Process and monitor all incoming payments, ensuring accurate posting to customer accounts. Manage outgoing payments through platforms and verifying invoice accuracy and approval workflows. Perform account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, including balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliation. Handle data entry tasks with high precision, including journal entries, account analysis, and maintaining confidential financial information securely. Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports, analyzing discrepancies, and assisting with audit preparations related to accounts receivable/payable. Collaborate with vendors and customers to resolve billing issues promptly while providing excellent customer service. Maintain accurate records of all transactions within accounting systems.

Experience Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on accounts receivable/payable management. Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, and journal entries accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel—for data analysis and spreadsheet management. Excellent numeracy skills combined with attention to detail; capable of handling high-volume data entry efficiently. Pay:
$33,500.00 - $44,000.00 per year
