ATD & NCS
as directed by management and will be responsible for all accounting, payroll, and financial bookkeeping as well as other office responsibilities. Qualifications To achieve success a Bookkeeper should possess the following minimum requirements, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience with a focus on Accounting. Experience in accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop experience a plus). Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of accounting, business, and administrative management practices and procedures. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Comprehension/Communication skills:
Ability to work in a team atmosphere. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including phone and e-mail etiquette. Excellent inter-personal relationship building skills and the ability to communicate and work with individuals of all levels both internally and externally.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to prioritize and adjust workload based on business needs. Ability to interpret tax, accounting, and payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Ability to recognize opportunities and apply problem solving skills to resolve or make improvements. Duties & Responsibilities Manage accounting operations including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Taxes, Financial reporting, and other office duties. Process weekly payroll Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end close. Ensure compliance with current accounting, tax, and payroll laws and regulations. Work with CFO and CPA as needed to ensure good bookkeeping practices and accurate financial statements and records. Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop Review any inefficiencies and cost-savings and make improvements as needed. Maintain files and record retention per recommended record retention guidelines Comply with all company policies and procedures. Lead by example and maintain confidentiality Other responsibilities as required.
