This is more than just a bookkeeping role—you'll play an essential part in keeping our projects on track and our business financially strong. What You'll Do In this role, you'll take ownership of day-to-day financial operations and work closely with our project and leadership teams. Accounts receivable

• Track/Create progress billing, collections, and payments Accounts payable
• Invoice review/coding, and payment processing Track and monitor project costs (materials, labor, subcontractors) Coordinate lien waivers and releases with subcontractors and project stakeholders Maintain accurate 1099 contractor records , W-9s, and insurance documentation Support financial audits by preparing and organizing required documents Partner with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and billing Serve as a point of contact for client billing questions , resolving issues professionally and promptly What You Bring We're looking for someone who is dependable, sharp, and ready to take initiative.

Knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping Hands-on experience with AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger Ability to prepare and understand financial reports High attention to detail—you catch what others miss Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Clear communicator who can work across teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office , especially advanced Excel Experience with Sage Accounting is a plus A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in where needed Why Join Thomas Construction?
