Part-Time (15-20 hours per week) Position Summary Done Right Landscapes is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their accounting career, including students pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance, or individuals with bookkeeping or administrative experience looking to grow in the accounting field. In this role, you'll assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, expense coding, and maintaining accurate financial records. We are looking for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and takes pride in producing accurate work. ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable Prepare and send customer invoices. Monitor outstanding customer balances. Assist with collections and payment follow-up. Apply customer payments and maintain accurate records. Resolve basic billing questions. Accounts Payable Enter vendor invoices into the accounting system. Verify invoice details and account coding. Assist with processing vendor payments. Maintain organized vendor files and records. Expense & Receipt Management Collect receipts and supporting documentation. Enter and code employee expenses and company credit card transactions. Organize and maintain expense records. General Accounting Support Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations. Assist with weekly payroll run. Maintain organized accounting files and documentation. Support month-end accounting activities. Complete additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned. QualificationsRequired High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Dependable with a willingness to learn. Preferred Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business . Previous experience in bookkeeping, office administration, customer service, or accounting is a plus—but not required . Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software is helpful but can be taught. Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
