Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help support our organization's financial health and operational efficiency. Bookkeeping/Data Entry:
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping
- Record and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Process vendor invoices and payments and maintain accurate vendor records.
- Maintain vendor accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain, and organize of vendor confidential records
- Handle general administrative duties related to accounting and office operations
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
- Experience with horticulture or service-based business is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable working with numbers, financial records, and deadlines
- Proficient with bookkeeping/accounting software, and able to learn new software
- Able to work independently while communicating effectively with management, employees, customers, and vendors
