1st Shift Accounts Payable ClerkPay is $23/hr
Location:
Cherryville, NC Schedule:
Monday-Thursday | 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team within a custom metal fabrication facility. This position is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling statements, preparing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records while providing administrative support to the office. Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies. Prepare and process weekly/monthly vendor payments. Upload payment files and maintain payment records. Reconcile company credit card statements. Maintain records for property taxes and company vehicle registrations. Assist with month-end closing activities. Respond to vendor inquiries by phone and email. File accounting documents and maintain organized records. Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general office duties. Support the Accounting Manager and office staff with additional administrative tasks. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business preferred. Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred. Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is a plus. Strong data entry and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with accounting software preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$23.00 per hour
