What You'll Do As an Accounting Clerk, you'll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly while providing a high level of service to both our internal and external customers: Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers through phone, email, and other forms of communication Process Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable invoicing Process customer payments (checks, credit cards, ACH/EFT) Post and manage freight bills (FedEx, UPS, R&L Carriers) Assist with A/P processing (including drop shipments) Handle incoming mail and administrative tasks Respond promptly and professionally to customer account inquiries and invoice requests Work effectively and collaboratively with staff across all departments to resolve questions, address issues, and support company needs Build positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, vendors, and other business contacts Assist with minor collections, including written and verbal communication with customers Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

What We're Looking For Strong customer-service mindset with excellent professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of people, including internal and external customers, in a professional and team-oriented manner Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and strong data-entry skills Experience with ERP systems; MS Dynamics experience is a plus Professional, positive, and solutions-oriented attitude Basic understanding of accounting principles Previous accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general office experience preferred What You Bring (Qualifications) Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience Accounting Experience is preferred Minimum of 2 years of office or clerical experience Physical Requirements Ability to work in an office/cubicle environment Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other standard office equipment Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the office Ability to lift and carry office materials, files, or packages weighing up to 20 pounds Ability to perform work requiring visual attention to detail, including reviewing documents, invoices, spreadsheets, and other financial information Ability to maintain productivity and accuracy while performing repetitive computer and data-entry tasks Why Join InstroTek?
