Part-Time Accounting Assistant Fayetteville Academy - 4.6 Fayetteville, NC Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Customer service Financial analysis Attention to detail Office experience Full Job Description Part-Time Accounting Assistant Fayetteville Academy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support the Business Office with daily, monthly, and annual accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, customer-service focused, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities Process invoices, credit card receipts, and outgoing payments in accordance with established financial policies and procedures. Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable records to ensure invoices and payments are accurately accounted for and properly posted. Identify and resolve discrepancies and accounting issues. Generate and maintain analyses, spreadsheets, financial statements, and reports related to various financial aspects of the Business Office. Reconcile monthly bank accounts and credit card accounts. Assist with tuition and fee billing and collections using proprietary software. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Provide additional support to Business Office staff as needed. Qualifications and Skills Previous experience in an office accounting or bookkeeping position. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. Demonstrated ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. Strong data-entry skills and confidence working with numbers. Experience working with spreadsheets and accounting or proprietary software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
