Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract opportunity. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with vendors and internal stakeholders, and has a strong understanding of high-volume AP processes within a manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company procedures Prepare and process weekly payment runs, including ACH and check payments Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable balances Assist with month-end close activities, accruals, and account reconciliations Support audit requests by providing required documentation Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, production, and accounting teams to ensure timely invoice processing Qualifications 3+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required Strong understanding of purchase orders, inventory transactions, and three-way matching Experience processing high-volume invoices with a high level of accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Epicor, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
