Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk join one of our excellent clients. This role will be responsible for processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and supporting the accounting team with administrative and clerical duties. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices, vendor payments, and expense reports. Assist with accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment application, and collections support. Enter financial transactions into the accounting system accurately and timely. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records. Maintain organized and accurate accounting files and documentation. Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations. Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and customer accounts. Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial transactions. Generate routine reports and provide supporting documentation as needed. Assist with audit requests and other accounting projects. Perform general administrative and clerical duties in support of the accounting function. Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred. 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
