The primary purpose of the Accounting Technician I position is to provide beginning level accounting technician work and administrative work for the agency. Duties to include coding and reconciling invoices for payment, request quotes and pricing for purchases and submitting purchases orders, monthly revenue balancing from payors, assist billing staff with reconciliation and financial reports, inventory, and fixed assets tracking, maintain staff travel request, assist Accreditation Coordinator with Accreditation activities. Other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Graduation from high school including or supplemented by basic courses in bookkeeping or accounting and two years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting clerical work in an accounting office; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Completion of a one-year business course in a business school including or supplemented by courses in bookkeeping or accounting may be substituted for the required experience.)
