Job Description

Position Overview:
Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team in North Carolina. This role is ideal for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Assist with office-related tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks. Provide support in preparing financial reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in accounting or a related field. Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. An Associate's Degree is a plus, but not required.
Required Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, during regular business hours.

Additional Details:
Compensation for this role ranges from $26 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
