Accounting Specialist

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting.

Responsibilities:

Process and review customer and vendor invoices with a high level of accuracy Enter invoice data and ensure proper documentation Reconcile vendor and customer accounts to the general ledger Match invoices to purchase orders or sales orders and research discrepancies Communicate with vendors to resolve billing questions or payment issues Prepare supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews Assist with weekly ACH payment runs Support month-end close activities and ongoing accounting processes Partner with internal departments to improve workflows and resolve issues

Qualifications:

1-3 years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience working with ERP systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Professional written and verbal communication skills

Pay Details:
