Job Description

As a Deal Processor / Vehicle Clerk , you'll play an important role in the dealership's accounting and vehicle operations. You'll work closely with our Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Titling teams to ensure vehicle deals are complete, funded, posted correctly, and followed through to completion. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and has a strong sense of urgency. You'll be responsible for reviewing paperwork, posting deals and funding, following up on outstanding items, and keeping schedules and documentation accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Finance Department to process and finalize vehicle deals Review new and used vehicle deals to ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate, including signatures, driver's licenses, insurance, and other required paperwork Pull and post funding notices daily from banks and financial institutions Post new and used vehicle deals into our accounting system Submit payoffs on incoming trade vehicles and follow up on titles and/or lien releases Follow up on missing titles and other outstanding vehicle documentation Maintain and clean accounting schedules Submit manufacturer rebates and ensure all required documentation is complete Process off-the-street vehicle purchases Research and follow up on missing information or discrepancies Communicate with Finance, Sales, Titling, Accounting, banks, manufacturers, and other departments Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

7:30 AM-5:30
PM Friday:
7:30 AM-11:30
AM Month End:
Schedule may vary on the first working day of the month.
Requirements:
Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong follow-up skills and ability to keep open tasks moving toward completion Ability to handle multiple competing priorities efficiently and effectively Strong sense of urgency and understanding of deadlines Comfortable working with numbers, paperwork, and financial information Strong communication skills Ability to manage confidential information with integrity Versatile and willing to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and professional demeanor Previous automotive, dealership, accounting, billing, or administrative experience is preferred but not required CDK experience is a plus
