Job Description

Assists Accounts Payable Supervisor in all areas of department responsibilities. Perform general clerical duties for accounting department. Other areas of responsibility would include keeping accurate files, key punching, preparing journal entries and invoicing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up new vendor numbers. Call vendors to verify any address changes to prevent fraud. Assist with insurance certificate inputs and subcontractor registrations in all systems. Enter journal entries. Complete trade and bank references on all new and existing credit applications for outside vendors. Assist with accounts payable invoice entry for all divisions of Chief. Release wires in the bank. Check and approve all IFS expense reports. Assist with special projects as assigned. Review and Code Credit Card Transactions.
Education:
High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
