Job Description

First Review of Applications Begins:
September 18 The City of Norfolk is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide essential support to our Housing Division. This role handles a mix of property management, tenant services, financial reporting, and general office duties across multiple housing developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant & Property Management Manage records, communications, lease-ups, and recertifications Process move-ins/move-outs, rent calculations, deposits, and notices Maintain waiting lists and track overdue rent Financial Management Process rent payments, A/P, and reconcile bank statements using PHA-WEB Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and assist with budgets and audits Track construction costs and generate invoices for home projects Compliance & Office Support Maintain accurate files and property compliance data (e.g., COL NIFA) Assist with phones, customer service, and prepare bank deposits
