This position is entry level, however, does require a highly organized , detail-oriented , and self-motivated individual who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our real estate portfolio and supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company. The Ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple properties and deadlines, and has an understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial reporting. What You'll Do Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for assigned properties. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable , including entering and coding invoices, payments, tenant balances, and vendor accounts. Monitor outstanding payables and assist with maintaining appropriate payment schedules. Assist with monthly account and bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and resolve discrepancies. Process and monitor tenant receivables, post tenant payments and other property-related income. Maintain accurate tenant ledgers and property financial records. Assist with month-end and year-end closing . Assist with CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations, supporting documentation, and annual tenant statements. Assist with property budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting . Monitor expenses against budget and identify unusual activity or variances. Communicate with vendors, property managers, and management to resolve accounting questions/discrepancies. Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Knowledge in Yardi Voyager and Yardi Advantage helpful but not required . AP/AR and reconciliation knowledge helpful. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities, while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
