Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to support day-to-day receivables operations for an organization in Monmouth County, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing financial transactions with accuracy. In this role, you will help maintain reliable account records, support billing and cash activity processes, and contribute to the smooth operation of the accounting team.
Responsibilities:
  • Record account activity by applying charges, credits, returned payments, and fund transfers accurately to owner accounts.
  • Enter and reconcile deposit information within accounting platforms to keep financial records current.
  • Manage transaction-related account updates tied to property closings, including sales, resales, foreclosures, and bankruptcy matters.
  • Maintain owner account data by updating contact details and ensuring records remain accurate across internal systems.
  • Process ownership changes, including name revisions and address updates, in a timely and precise manner.
  • Review receivable entries for completeness and accuracy while helping resolve routine account discrepancies.
  • Support billing and cash application activities to promote efficient accounts receivable operations.
  • Perform additional administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed to assist the department.
