Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeping/Clerk and become a vital part of our financial operations! In this energetic role, you will manage essential accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support the smooth functioning of our accounting systems. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our financial data, facilitate timely reporting, and uphold compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities Perform data entry and administrative duties Filing and organizing Using and preparing Spreadsheets Ability to use email Receiving and recording payments Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings Reconciling and reporting any discrepancies found in the records Performing Basic AR and AP Working closely with the accountant Assist in budgeting processes and prepare financial reports to support management Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheets to ensure data integrity. Prepare journal entries, perform account analysis, and assist with month-end closing activities. Answer phones Speak to residents about account ledgers Other duties as assigned Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles Knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Experience with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and report writing. Ability to perform detailed account analysis, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliation accurately. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 29.0 per week
