Job Description

Shifman Mattress Company is a leading designer and manufacturer of luxury, hand-crafted mattresses that are built with the same commitment to quality, integrity and true craftsmanship by which the company was founded on over 133 years ago. We are a family-owned company that has a proven track record of creating strategic partnerships with its dealers to increase retail sales and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a Bookkeeper to work closely with the General Manager; a tremendous opportunity with growing company, offering great salary & benefits package. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording and maintaining the company's daily financial transactions, as well as prepare reports for the managing team, assist in running payroll, collect debts, making daily deposits, running factory payroll, generate invoices and make payments.
BOOKKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES
are as follows, but are not limited to: ADP payroll processing (prepare in envelopes and post the transactions) Must be Quickbooks experienced NetSuite experience is a plus + Process invoices, suppling proper back up documentation (such as purchase orders and packing lists), as well as prepare and mail out checks A/P and A/R processing and follow up Create ACH payments and wire transfers Make bank deposits Review aging report with CEO and President Process of EC (SPIFF program) Generate monthly sales and commission reports Spearhead pension and health care program, including onboarding management, and insurance enrollment Manage D&B reports and credit applications Oversee new account credit verifications process Coordinate new vendor credit application process Review and process sales team expenses Review and distribute the mail
BOOKKEEPER QUALIFICATIONS / PREFERRED SKILLS
Detail oriented, well organized, and able to multitask in a face-paced factory environment Solutions driven problem solver Must be experienced with Quickbooks and ADP programs Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) preferred

$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
