Job Description

Accounts Payable Specialist Laufer LLP is a well-established Long Island based accounting and advisory firm looking to expand our team of professionals. If you are looking to join a local firm and avoid a long commute, please consider joining us for a flexible and friendly environment with a unique service line. Essential Functions
  • Help clients maintain financial records
  • Verify monthly transactions (purchases, sales, payments, etc.) are recorded properly
  • Perform all activities related to accounts payable, including review and approval of processed invoices
  • Verify and report monthly sales
  • Bank reconciliation adjustments
  • Sales tax processing
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Enter data, maintain records, and create reports
  • Serve as a contributing team member to bookkeeping department
  • Build working relationships with peers, management, and client personnel Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience
  • Prior experience in a public accounting firm a plus
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks & learn from other team members
  • Self-motivated and ambitious

Excel and Outlook Pay:
$53,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
