Full Charge Bookkeeper Location:
Bohemia, NY Company/Industry:
Well-established IT support and technology management firm
Schedule:
Mon-Fri On-Site Only 9am-5pm
Salary:
$25 - 35 per hour depending on experience, flexibility for the right candidate, plus benefits
Type:
Direct Hire Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and categorize daily transactions, vendor bills, client invoices, cash receipts, and disbursements. Process weekly vendor payments, prepare client billing, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding balances. Reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card accounts to maintain general ledger accuracy up to the trial balance stage. Utilize internal CRM software to verify service hours, contract billing details, and customer account logs prior to invoicing. Assist with routine filing, sales tax preparation, and basic spreadsheet tracking in Microsoft Excel. Qualifications & Requirements Required hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks for standard accounting entries and reconciliations. Familiarity with CRM systems or ticket/billing software is a strong plus. 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, or financial data entry. Excellent attention to detail, proficiency in MS Excel, and solid organizational habits.
