Job Description

If supporting the accounting operations for two successful hotels while keeping financial information accurate and up-to-date sounds like a great fit… keep reading. The Role As our Dual Accounting Clerk , you will support the accounting and financial operations for both the Homewood Suites by Hilton Carle Place and SpringHill Suites by Marriott Carle Place . You will assist with invoice processing, account reconciliations, revenue reporting, records management, and other accounting functions that help ensure the financial success of both properties. What You Will Be Doing Process invoices, payments, and accounts payable transactions for both hotels Reconcile accounts and verify balances to ensure accuracy Maintain organized financial files, records, and supporting documentation Assist with daily revenue reports, cash deposits, and credit card reconciliations Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting requirements Communicate professionally with vendors, department leaders, and corporate partners Review and enter accounting data accurately and timely Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and collection efforts as needed Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and audit requirements Support financial audits and special projects as assigned Assist the hotel leadership teams with administrative and accounting-related tasks Why You Will Love It Here Professional and supportive work environment Opportunity to support two nationally recognized hotel brands Work that directly contributes to the success of the business Exposure to a variety of accounting and hospitality functions Opportunities for professional development and career growth Ready to Join the Team If you are ready to help keep our accounting operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly, apply now. EOE Qualifications What Makes You You Accounting, bookkeeping, or financial support experience preferred Hospitality accounting experience is a plus Accurate data entry and account reconciliation skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Comfortable working with spreadsheets, accounting software, and financial reports Ability to manage multiple priorities across two hotel properties Dependable, professional, and deadline-oriented Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Must be flexible to work including holidays and weekends (based on business needs).
