full-time A well-established Construction firm with nearly a century of industry experience is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Bookkeeping & Office Administrator to join its team. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with numbers and documentation, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, data entry, reconciliations, and filing Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Prepare certified payroll reports and maintain supporting documentation Assist with union benefits, dues, contributions, and required reporting Maintain vehicle and driver compliance records, including registrations, inspections, insurance, and permits Organize and maintain financial, compliance, and administrative records Provide general administrative support to the front office and project management teams Assist with additional office and accounting responsibilities as needed Qualifications & Experience Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with numbers, records, and confidential information Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and follow-through Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office software Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of the team Construction or manufacturing industry is a plus Union payroll or benefits administration Certified payroll reporting is a plus Sage 100 Contractor is a plus Sage Paperless Construction is a plus
