Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Apply and post daily tenant payments received through ACH, wire, and lockbox, including review of third-party receipt batches. Support cash receipts reconciliation and research unapplied or unidentified payments. Prepare and maintain documentation for security deposit refunds. Generate and distribute monthly rent increase notices to tenants. Manage bounced check processing, including tenant outreach and account updates. Assist with monthly tenant statements and other routine tenant correspondence. Prepare billing adjustments and credits while ensuring accurate account records. Contribute to month-end close activities related to accounts receivable. Follow up with tenants on outstanding balances and provide supporting documentation as needed. Support additional administrative tasks and special projects. Use AI and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Take on other administrative responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 1-3 years of accounts receivable/cash application experience; real estate industry experience preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Experience with lease administration software such as MRI, JDE, Yardi, or similar platforms. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while balancing competing priorities.
